Learning Empowerment to Able the Disabled will provide vocational skills training for youth with disabilities. Our primary goal is to smooth the transition into adulthood by empowering those in our programs to be successful adults. We have the local support of multiple businesses in which our participants may engage in job shadowing, internships, and eventually, a job.
LEAD has skilled trainers on staff to provide instruction and education to local employers working to create diverse and inclusive workplaces and are ready to employ individuals with disabilities.
Training topics cover:
- Starting an apprenticeship program
- Accountability and assessment
- Inclusion
